Meet the Election Board
The Election Board is responsible for conducting fair, transparent, and democratic elections for the Association. Board members oversee the election process in accordance with the SUTA Bylaws and ensure equal participation for all eligible members.
Election Board Responsibilities
The Election Board administers the Association's election process and protects fairness, transparency, and equal participation.
Election Administration
Conduct elections for the Board of Directors and Compliance Board in accordance with the SUTA Bylaws.
Election Timetable
Announce and manage the election schedule, nominations, voting period, and official election timeline.
Fair & Transparent Process
Ensure elections are conducted fairly, transparently, and with equal opportunity for all eligible members.
Background — Article 9 of the SUTA Bylaws
The Election Board is established under Article 9 of the SUTA Bylaws to administer elections independently and ensure a transparent, democratic, and impartial election process.
- Members are elected by the General Members Assembly.
- The Board consists of primary and substitute members.
- Election Board members cannot be current Board members or candidates.
- Members must satisfy the eligibility requirements defined in the Bylaws.
- The Election Board publishes the election timetable at least three months before voting begins.
