The SUTA Awards & Grants Program celebrates outstanding achievements within the Sharif University of Technology community by recognizing excellence in research, education, innovation, leadership, and service. It also supports promising graduate students through financial grants that help advance their academic journey.
The Awards and Grants Committee is pleased to announce the kickoff of the 2026 SUTA Awards & Grants Program. This biennial program will be held for the ninth time in conjunction with the 2026 SUTA Reunion.
The program includes four award categories together with a dedicated Student Grant program supporting outstanding Sharif graduates pursuing postgraduate education.

The 2026 program includes four distinguished awards recognizing excellence in innovation, lifetime achievement, alumni accomplishments, and outstanding service. In addition, a dedicated Student Grant supports Sharif graduates pursuing Master's and PhD studies worldwide.
The first two awards recognize groundbreaking innovation and a lifetime of outstanding service to Sharif University of Technology, science, engineering and society.

Honors distinguished scholars with strong ties to Sharif University of Technology for their lifelong contributions to science, technology, education and society.

Named in honor of the late Dr. Maryam Mirzakhani, this award celebrates Sharif graduates whose professional achievements have made a lasting impact on academia, industry or society.

SUTA Graduate Student Grants provide financial assistance to outstanding Sharif University of Technology graduates who have been admitted to Master's or PhD programs at internationally recognized universities.
The program aims to encourage academic excellence, support future researchers and innovators, and strengthen the connection between the global Sharif community and its next generation of scholars.
