Celebrating the Life & Legacy of Maryam Mirzakhani

You are cordially invited to attend a special event by Persian Tech Network and SUTA NorCal on June 9th, 2026 as we honor the late Maryam Mirzakhani — the first woman and first Iranian to win the Fields Medal — whose extraordinary mind and spirit continue to inspire mathematicians, dreamers, and changemakers around the world.

•  Madison Masaeli - CEO and Cofounder @Deepcell, UCLA PhD

This Chapter was established in March 2003 and hosted the 2006 SUTA reunion in Santa Clara.

SUTA NorCal mission is to create and nurture a friendly environment for all associates to network and assist one another in the advancement of their professional, social and educational goals. This volunteer-based organization consists of four teams:

1. Events team designed to organize social events that foster closer connections between associates
2. Education team designed to keep associates informed of new scientific, technological and social breakthroughs
3. Mentorship team designed to help associates needing advice and guidance to make a road map for a successful career
4. Entrepreneurship team designed to make available to the associates the ingredients needed to launch their own business or startup.
