بیانیه هیأت مدیره انجمن دانشگاه صنعتی شریف (سوتا) در پی حادثه دلخراش انفجار در انبارهای بندر عباس (رجایی)
بار دیگر زنجیره‌ای از ضعف های ساختاری و ناکارآمدی در نهادهای کلان کشور جان تعداد زیادی انسان بی‌گناه را در اسکله رجایی در کام خود کشید و صدها خانواده را در سوگ عزیزانشان نشاند و خسارات جبران ناپذیری به جان و مال هموطنانمان وارد آورد.
انفجار هولناک انبارهای بندر، فارغ از علل، عوامل و ابعاد واقعی آن، نه تنها زنگ خطری برای وضعیت ایمنی و استانداردهای صنعتی در کشور است، بلکه آینه‌ای دردناک از زخم‌های عمیق‌تری‌ست: زوال مدیریت علمی، فرار نخبگان، و تهی شدن بدنه اجرایی کشور از مدیران آگاه، متعهد و متخصص.
انجمن دانشگاه صنعتی شریف (سوتا)، ضمن ابراز عمیق‌ترین همدردی با خانواده‌های داغ‌دیده و مجروحان این حادثه، خواستار بررسی شفاف، مستقل و مسئولانه علل و عوامل این فاجعه است. رسیدگی به چنین رخدادی، تنها وظیفه‌ای قانونی نیست، بلکه آزمونی اخلاقی برای وجدان عمومی و معیاری برای مدیریت عقلانی است.

Statement of the Sharif University of Technology Association (SUTA) following the heartbreaking incident of the explosion in the Bandar Abbas (Rajai) warehouses:
Once again, a chain of structural weaknesses and inefficiency in the country's major institutions has claimed the lives of many innocent people at the Rajai dock, left hundreds of families mourning their loved ones, and caused irreparable damage to the lives and property of our compatriots.
The horrific explosion in the port warehouses, regardless of its causes, factors, and real dimensions, is not only a warning for the state of safety and industrial standards in the country, but also a painful mirror of deeper wounds: the decline of scientific management, the flight of elites, and the depletion of the country's executive body of knowledgeable, committed, and expert managers.
The Sharif University of Technology Association (SUTA), while expressing its deepest sympathy to the bereaved families and injured persons of this incident, calls for a transparent, independent, and responsible investigation into the causes and factors of this tragedy. Addressing such an incident is not only a legal duty, but also a moral test of public conscience and a benchmark for rational management.
